Furniture specifications used to be easy, then reduced fees, rapid project speeds, additional course work required/less specification writing, fewer bodies on projects, more components in the design process, and not enough experienced designers left in many design firms. This panel discussion with a senior commercial interior designer, designer with a university, dealer, and furniture rep will explain how to get the best project from the initial design concepts to the final move in - what can happen plus how to prevent some of the dreaded "VE" and the "Oops" that occur on projects. Humor and horror will make a memorable discussion of the correct way to ask, what to expect, and to maintain your design.
