Any Attendee who is not an official Exhibitor, Sponsor or Speaker who is found to be promoting their products or services in such a way found unacceptable to the METROCON Committee will be removed from the trade show premises and asked not to return. This practice is unfair to paying event participants and will not be tolerated.

► Attendee registration for the Trade Show, Programming, and Pre-paid Lunches opens online June 1, 2018 @ 8:00 AM (CST). Registration for Programming and Pre-paid Lunches closes online August 3, 2018 @ 5:00 PM (CST), but registration for the Trade Show will stay open online through the close of the show on August 10, 2018 at 3:00 PM (CST).

► Registration for both the Trade Show and Programming will be available on-site.

► Since every Attendee is tracked within the registration database by his/her email address, every registrant must have his/her own distinct email address to be able to register online. In other words, two or more people cannot register with the same email address.

► The only method of payment accepted is credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express). All monetary transactions will be conducted in U.S. dollars.

► If an Attendee claims to quality as a Member (as per the criteria outlined HERE) in order to receive discounted CE Courses and is found not to qualify, then the Attendee will be required to pay the difference before attending any CE Courses.

  • Attendees have until August 3, 2018 @ 5:00 PM (CST) to cancel and receive a full refund on any Programming and/or Pre-paid Lunches.

After this stated deadline, no refunds will be given. All cancellations, regardless of submittal date, will be honored only if such request is received in writing via email.

► Due to high demand, Attendees are asked not to sign up for more Programming than they actually plan to attend. We are trying to accommodate as many Attendees as possible.

► Due to high demand, Attendees registering for CE Courses are asked not to sign up for more than one course designated as “Barrier Free” over the two-day show. TBAE [Texas Board of Architectural Examiners] only requires one (1) of the annually required twelve (12) CEPHs for Texas Registered Interior Designers (RIDs) to be designated as “Barrier Free,” and we are trying to accommodate as many RIDs as possible.

► If a CE Course that you want to take sells out during online registration, then you may attempt to get into the course on-site at the show via this method:

Start forming a line outside the room of the course that you are interested 10-15 minutes before the course starts. Frequently, a few people who officially registered for the course will not show up. If/when this occurs and there are empty seats right as the course starts, then the volunteer Classroom Monitor will let people into the class as per their order in the line. Although we cannot guarantee that you will be able to get into the class, we have used this method for years, and it works for most cases.

► All offerings will start promptly on time. Anyone arriving late risks forfeiting his/her seat to stand-by Attendees.

Students & New Graduates

In addition to registering to attend the Trade Show, Students & New Graduates must also register for each Student Program they want to attend. Registration links will be available on the Student Programs page when they become available.

Privacy / Sharing of Information

► METROCON does not sell or provide Attendee contact information to third parties.

► METROCON does share Attendees' contact information with that year's Exhibitors and Sponsors after the event concludes.

► During the registration process, Attendees have the ability to opt-out of sharing their email address with Exhibitors and Sponsors.

► Attendees who have their badge scanned are giving that specific Exhibitor access to his/her contact information.

► If an Attendee takes any Programming, then METROCON does share his/her contact information with the specific Speaker(s) of that Programming.
